Intro to Camera Acting - Level 1

Interested in diving into the world of on-camera acting? Whether you're still in school, recently graduated from a theatre program, or are considering a career change, it's important to learn the basics. In this course, you will have the opportunity to break out of your shell, and explore acting for the camera under expert guidance in a safe, supportive space. Furthermore, this series will provide an invaluable roadmap to help you navigate the intricacies of being a performer. How do I break down a text? What can I expect from the audition process? What is expected of me on set? How do I approach my first agent? ​ From comedy, to drama, to commercial, you will be provided scenes to practice and perform over this 10-week workshop. By the end of this enriching series, you will have the tools required to begin your on-camera acting journey.
